End of this rest week was a fast 50 mile ride on this route. By Colorado standards this is a flat route (1030 feet of climbs). My goal on a fifty mile ride is to complete it under 2:50 elapsed time depending on the terrain. I did this route in 2:48 having to stop once. Good ride.
Today, Sunday is twelve weeks from the first day of the transcontinental. I know I am on track but I am getting anxious to test myself on some epic distances like 150 miles.
Total for the week: 112 miles, 6:30 total time and 3523 calories. Clearly a low volume week. The next three are a very different story.
