I retire from FedEx at the end of April and that is leading to a lot of extra activities. Most of these activities are not good for cycling because they often include dinners and drinks. I have a lot of friends that want to wish me well and I am not going to be a party-pooper. So the fitness hole I am in will just get deeper.
I will live with it.
Still I have been able to increase my steady state interval time to 12 minutes (2x12x6) which is my plan so my strength isn't suffering. But my weight and endurance are.
I will just have to work on it in May.
