Managed to lose a pound this week making it 6.4 lbs in six weeks. That is an acceptable pace but it is coming at a harsh price. I still have days when I feel like crap--I guess I am not detoxed enough. And given the the weight I want to achieve is still a long way off there are going to be a lot of days where I am really run down. I feel like I am on an Atkins diet.
Those whines notwithstanding, I am at my lowest weight of the year which is within five pounds of my lowest weight in thirty years. That says more about my weight over the last 30 years than it does about my weight loss.
I managed to ride 201 miles this week and do 13.5 hrs training. But I am having to take more days completely off to recover.
