Day 25--The Cycling Gods Smile Again

What a great day. It started a little questionable with a three mile detour to avoid some nasty road work. The road work was the kind with big barriers, different payment levels, and lots of traffic with no where to go. It added three miles to an already long 117 mile day. But it was worth it to avoid the traffic and road work and the detour roads were smooth.

Then things got really nice. It was not hot, the roads were great, and the wind was from the west and strong at times. So we were able to cruise all day in the 17-18 mph finishing the 120 miles in almost exactly 7 hours riding.

Tomorrow is the last ride and the weather will be almost as good. High in the 70's. Wind won't be a factor.

The internet connection in this hotel is very slow so I can't get any pictures uploaded. Tomorrow's pictures are more important anyway.

Summary: 2834 miles and 84,367 feet of climbs.
